Do these kits have XLR only or can a XLR and 1/4 combo jack work? I've noticed these on many products now days and they are really nice. Most of my recording equipment uses these.

Hi Sands,
XLR only here..
You can build your own XLRF/TRS adapter if your card inputs need it.
Don't know if you can mount a combo instead of the stock connectors.
Why would you do that?

The Neutrik combo parts I've worked with bring out the XLR and TRS connectors to separate pins, making them incompatible with the PCB. I used them for some of the tie lines in my studio. Pain in the rear soldering little jumpers in there to connect the TRS and XLR sides together...

thanks for the info

My current I/O only has 1/4 inputs so I was curious. I'm a dumb musician, so there's most of the ignorance. I assume buying cables that are XLR to 1/4 will work fine.

thanks for the quick response, very much appreciated.

Yep, adapter cables should be fine.

The connectors are XLR only. Neutrik does not make a combo jack in the same board-mounted, right-angle, rotated configuration.
