Just received the finished unit from Tim today. It's beautiful and I can't wait to put it to use!!!

Anyhow...if I wanted to rearrange the cards based on a preferred working order (mainly drum recording etc.) within the chasis...would i go about unplugging the card from the WH01 harness, rearrange...then plug back the harness back in? Would anything else need to be done? I'm not very good when it comes to electronics so if it's going to be a problem I can leave well enough alone...thought I'd just throw it out there and see what's involved.

It's dirt simple electronically (disconnect and reconnect the molex power block) and mildly complicated mechanically (remove the top, remove the knobs, remove the pot and switch nuts and lockwashers, remove the four hex screws holding on the front panel, remove the front panel, remove the four screws holding the XLR connectors to the back panel.)

Then do it all in reverse.

that's kinda what i figured. thumbing through the instructions for each kit it didn't seem like there were variances between how the harness hooks up to each. i understood the molex power block...just wasn't sure if there were any adjustments that needed to be made on each card. i guess if there were...they would have been already made! all the other stuff, while a pain...i can handle. it's always easier to take something apart then it is to build it!!! just ask our government...

Just to add; be careful reassembling this. Tim's built a very tight ship here!

Seriously... the fit is super; just be careful when reattaching the front panel and go slow and make sure you get all the switches and pots fitted in properly before applying any pressure to the front panel. It would be possible to bend back the blue trim pots if not careful.

It shouldn't be a problem and it is very straight forward; just don't try to force anything.

And don't torque the rotary switch locknuts too much! Finger tight with a socket, then 1/8 turn.

So, I should not use pliers?
