Super all in one d11 !?

Postby hopelessennui » Fri Jun 20, 2008 3:27 pm

Im looking to build the d11 as a seperate unit. (mainly because my 7th circle rack is full!) has anyone looked into power supplies for it? I know there are several +/- power supply pcbs out there for DIY synths, but I dont know if they can handle 27v, and also they wouldn't need to be a regulated PS because the voltage regulators are already on board the d11.

Secondly I think it would be cool to have this unit wired up for optional re-amping. would it be possible to have a switch that adds a 4k7 resistor with the output for the high impedance instrument out and then bypass the resistor when using it as a DI? and what if you used a pot instead of the 4k7 resistor to add variable impedance like the radial DIs?

and lastly how difficult would it be to add an amp out incase you want to mic the amp and record DI at the same time?

Just some ideas to throw around and see what everyone thinks...
