I'm interested in the T15. I'm hardly an electronics engineer though I have soldered a few kits in my time.

Is it possible to power this preamp by battery?

I'm only considering the single preamp at the moment, but what if I wanted to add another channel? If I bought another kit separately, would it have matched components? Would it matter?

It's certainly possible, but you'll need +/-24V for maximum headroom, plus a 48V supply for phantom power.

The T15 uses primarily 1% metal film resistors and other high quality components throughout, so two modules will match as well as two adjacent console channels. We reserve the right to revise the design at any time, however, so if matching is important you should probably buy them in pairs.
